He just started his freshman year and played his first game tonight for Coe College in their devastating defeat of Cornell (IA) 62-6 Played for some punt and kick returns, then most of the second half as center linebacker. Never been much of a sports fan but proud grand-dad moment! Anyone ever heard of Coe? I hadn’t until he got his scholarship. What part of "...Shall not be infringed" don't you understand???  | ||

I looked them up and saw this interesting little factoid. "Coe also supports five co-educational athletic teams. They include Archery, Cheer, Dance, Clay Target and Esports." Archery & Clays are cool, but I will never accept Esports as a sport. | |||

Yes, I have. Many decades ago I went to Luther College in Decorah, IA, about 100 miles from Coe. Both are fairly small, church-affiliated, private liberal arts colleges. Back then Coe was in the same athletic conference. Its a quality college. Congratulations to your Grandson! | |||
