| They do love the money. Diet and exercise, tricky stuff. I am glad I keep Pharma's in my portfolio though, they seem to be winning the hearts and minds. Ugh. |

| Between big Pharma and sports betting it seems like they are buying the lions share of advertising dollars these days. Neither of these things bode well for America. |

This is a big pet peeve for me... I don't think they should be allowed to advertise to the public. These products are only available by prescription and all the ads do is convince people to "talk to [pressure] your doctor". The "practice" of medicine has been corrupted, mostly by two things: big government, and big pharma.
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown

I'm pretty confident about that one. There are far better ways to contaminate meds if one wants to thin the population. |
