A new one on me in the never ending battle Against evil whiteness

The BIPOC Project aims to build authentic and lasting solidarity among Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC), in order to undo Native invisibility, anti-Blackness, dismantle white supremacy and advance racial justice.”

Whew...I can sleep better at night knowing that niche is now filled...I was growing concerned that demographic wouldn't be represented. Roll Eyes

...and, no, I hadn't heard of this group until this post. What, does the Left have some buzzword/ buzz cause generator for SJW issues and then naming them? Or maybe it's some SJW board game...roll the dice, you land on Land O Lakes, there is your cause de jour?

Constantly looking for reasons to be morally outraged and angry must get tiring...no wonder they have so many paid activists...it's a full time job.

Hmmm. One of the things I learned by watching Mary Beard, who Shugart reccomended was that ancient Rome was culturally diverse. The city was filled with Roman ciizens from all over the world. When you came to Rome as a slave you did certain things and were then a citizen of Rome. As a citizen you held a job, got better food and more privileges. The Romans did not need cultural diversity training, they practiced it without knowing.

So, if you're black or Navajo or something then you're not a person of color? Or did POC just sound lame?

I learned a new word today:

cisgender:

For example, someone who identifies as a woman and was assigned female at birth is a cisgender woman.

Not sure why a term is needed... I guess I am a cismale instead of just a male.

So two women formed a movement? Made it up?

It’s all about the money.

I started seeing Bipoc used a couple of years ago when following derby and park skaters. It has become a buzz word in alternative communities.

I just ignore it, and treat everyone as people.

I don't know the amount, but social justice-diversity-equality, tell us that they have a right to even more than what they get.

As the College President's hand picked student taught the faculty, it is more important for college students to get and use political clout than it is for them to get and use marketable skills.

"Liberty lies in the hearts of men and women. When it dies there, no constitution, no law, no court can save it....While it lies there, it needs no constitution, no law, no court to save it"

So, that's what happened to the Roman Empire.
