Prayer request for my friend.
He lost his mother yesterday to cancer, crazy fast. Diagnosis to death in under a month, before decisions were even made to pursue chemotherapy or not.

His name is Nick, please pray for his comfort and guidance.

Prayers sent. May Nick and his family find peace. To paraphrase what 911 said above, there are others who may even now be praying for just such a merciful outcome. I can't help thinking I would prefer it to the evil machinations of Alzheimer's that took my mother after 7-8 long years.
