GustoferYou could pick up one of them little tent woodstoves for a couple hundred and it'd warm that up toot sweet. And you could use it as a cook stove, saving you some room inside.

old rugged crossYep, I like that idea too!
I hope to be able to get some actual numbers together soon for the camper itself. .

Expert308I'd think that even a small wood stove would put out enough heat to drive you out of the thing. A really tiny one might be tricky to control. You need a certain amount of contained heat to keep it stable while you're sleeping, and without getting up to refuel it often it won't burn all night. If you've decided to put in a propane heater, the wood stove seems redundant. Eliminating it would also save you having to carry (or cut) wood for it.

old rugged crossI tend to agree, but love a wood stove. Had one my whole adult life. A small one would work. Maybe 4-5 hours burn time. But yea. Unless really cold would cook you out of the thing.

wrightdThat is impressive. I imagine building it is a load of fun. But like anything else, to get good at it you have to build many of them as part of the learning curve.
Thanks Old.
