frayedendsMilitary discount at Dunkin' Donuts. This is a bit funny.
So my 14 year old son goes into Dunkin' Donuts with his older brother. He orders and hands them his debit card. The server asks him for his ID. Being he is 14 with a debit maybe not so strange right?
Anyhow he has a passport card for ID. It has a US Flag on it and says United States of America across the top. He got the card when he was 9 years old so the picture is clearly a kid.
The genius server hands him his card back and says, "Thank you for your service!" and then discounts his drink.

WTF, LOL. And they want $15/hr.
These go to eleven.

It is hard to get good help these days. I teenager I know who had a fake drivers license with the name of the state spelled incorrectly. Generally accepted at local establishments, with no issues.

Pretty good, shovelhead... pretty good.
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.
