A dad and his young daughter are visiting Montauk, and they stop into a store where the dad recognizes Matthew Broderick. He asks him to take a picture with his daughter. Matthew has a friend with him, and the dad politely asks the friend to step out of the frame, using the "nudging" gesture to keep the guy moving until he is far enough out that he can be cropped out of the photo to give him a clean shot of his daughter with the celebrity.
Here's the full shot. Notice anything?

Hahaha, I would have asked for a group shot! Jerry Fricking Seinfeld!

That explains Matt's smirk - he will remind Seinfeld about that for years. . .

That is funny. Even I recognize the "bystander" and I am terrible about such things.

And you know Jerry is tickled as well, because it is so much a "Seinfeld" moment. Life imitating art!

Funny story.

Haha. Funny stuff.
Reminded me if this encounter. Singer/bassist of Rush, Geddy Lee, is on the left. Guitar player Alex Lifeson is on the right:

I've thought the older Seinfeld gets, the more he's looking like Matt Lauer. So maybe yeah, get outta my picture!

That's alright, I probably wouldn't have recognized him either. Never was a Seinfeld fan. He's got a hell of a car collection, though. That I would have been interested in seeing. Him, not so much. He's the original Kardashian. Famous for nothing...
A Perpetual Disappointment...

Jerry isn't famous for nothing. He is genuinely funny.

Ensuring a tickle, he's running the table at pocket pool. Billionaires aren't used to getting moved down the bench.

Other than one of the top rated sitcoms in the history of television. Other than that though...

Well, I didn't. I probably wouldn't have recognized Broderick, either.
