I got a Leatherman Wave as a gift for being in a wedding 12-14 yrs ago and have sent it back to Leatherman for broken knife blades ( my fault) and they have replaced the blades and/or tool every time without question. The only bad thing is I was without my Wave for two weeks. I literally use that thing every day. Thanks Leatherman for your excellent customer service! They have gone above and beyond for me, too. I sent them a old, very worn tool asking if a broken blade could be repaired, and was offered a brand new one in exchange. | |||

I have had really good results w/ both Leatherman & Gerber. I recently sent a Gerber multitool in and they fixed it by driving a new one under it. Complete with a new pouch. | |||
