My 19 year old daughter who just started her second year of college has been diagnosed with a rare ovarian cancer. It was found by accident and while they have labeled it stage 1C we are in the process of confirming staging with testing. She has a good initial prognosis the pathology was conducted by John Hopkins and by the end of the week the path report was dated MD Anderson in Houston joins the fight. MD A will direct treatment, testing and chemo post surgeries.

This was initially identified as a cyst which are common on the ovary and generally are fluid filled and go away with their cycle. However her showed as having some portion that appeared solid. She was told she could leave it and watch it. The surgeon actually told her presurgery that birth control pills would help reduce cysts.

After this I don’t think I would ever leave a mass and watch it growth (unless it can’t be removed)

While I appreciate the value of prayers we aren’t there yet. I want your best battle cry, I want your war face, I want fuck cancer

Thanks

Forgot to add she likes to shoot

Couldn’t see your email. Please send me one. I’m an advisor to a cancer research group.

If your daughter is interested, they are looking for patients.

This is Mrs. Tuckerrnr1 ... I went through similar situation/diagnosis all through my 20s. Multiple surgeries, scans, invasive procedures, etc. Had a lifesaving hysterectomy at 29. I am now 54.
I would be happy to lend an ear and advice to your daughter. I feel like in this day we need to embrace everyone's children as our own <3
Your sweet girl will be in our prayers! Sending positive thoughts and lots of love <3 until I hear from you Smile
Hubby's email is in profile if you want to reach out.

Your daughter WILL beat this!!! I F’ing HATE cancer! It has taken away so many people I love or care about and my mom has been battling it for many years now. All I can say is don’t discount any natural medical alternatives. My mom has outlived doctor expectations and it is because she takes an active role in doing as much stuff naturally that she can.

Beat that F’ing Cancer!!!!!!!!! War face!
