For Marzy and Cockatoo - Baby Finches
So I have been watching out my kitchen window and a pair of house finches made a nest and laid eggs. The eggs hatched about four days ago.

I went out and stood on a chair with my Pentax K-1 and Sigma 180mm macro lens and captured this image of the babies:

I love watching the babies grow up.

Tabitha brought home three ferns from WalMart and before she finished hanging them up, they are all occupied! LOL

So there are 4 finch nests, 2 Barn Swallow nests and the Bluebirds are on their second batch!

All on the front porch.

AND I have Carolina Wrens on the back porch.

Then there is my crow that I feed is bringing me crow money again.

Thank you for the kind comments.

I put bird feeders in the front, and watch the wild birds eat the seed from the weeds in the back. We have pheasant and quail and some hawks that visit along with the tweety birds.

In the front we have a few finches, swallows, and hummingbirds.
