I'm guessing maybe he's in jail. He'll probably be able to plea down to manslaughter if it looks like the insanity defense isn't going to hold up, so that's okay.

Proper footwear is helpful, sneakers preferred so the student can get a better feel of the clutch grabbing as the pedal is released. No heavy boots, etc.

The Mrs. has limited hand eye coordination. Took 3 days to teach her to drive a stick. Patience is the key.
