Early this afternoon I got some devastating news, my mom has died from natural causes. I'm in shock don't know which way is up. I lost my dad when I was 5 in a car accident, so I was even closer to my mom. I knew it was coming eventually but never thought it would happen so soon. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers in advance.
James

I am very sorry to hear this. I wish you comfort and peace.

My sincerest condolences. I know just what you're feeling. And knowing it will eventually fade, just a little, is scant comfort. It will get better though.
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. -Ecclesiastes 9:11

I'm terribly sorry to hear that. Where are you so those of us so inclined could help you with a meal, or a sympathetic ear etc. if needed?

I’m very sorry for your loss. My mom passed away nearly five years ago and I think of her daily, by coincidence today, while looking for something, I found a photo of her with some cousins that I had never seen before. In an earlier time I might have been more emotional, but today it made me smile. I hope that, with the passage of time, you will be able to think of your mother and the good things her memory brings.
