I haven't got photos ready to publish yet, but will do so soon. My display this year is pretty nice.

A critter chewed through mine where it met the extension cord! I have to fix it today. No dead critter so it probably turned into the Flash or something.

I only put up a few last year and never took them down, just unplugged and rolled up the extension cords. This year I just ran the extension cords back and plugged them in, to find that only half of them are working. This weekend's task is to figure out why and get them going again.

I used to do a lot more of them, but getting older and more broken I just don't do ladders any more.

Five years ago, I took a bundle of lights out of the box and plugged them in to test them, and that's the photo that got taken... a tight little wad of lights, glowing happily. My daughter posted it on faceblob, with comments. I've seen it copied and used elsewhere.

Someday it might rival the breakfast bacon photos, but probably not.

Couldn't post-process to improve them--my Lightroom is not working right now.

Thank you, coloradohunter 44. For the first time since I've lived here (37 years) my next door neighbor has also put up lights, and a fairly nice display of his own. For this forum I carefully framed my photos to not show his lights because I wanted to showcase my own display. (Done with the help of my Handyman, Pete--I don't do ladders.) The 2 displays together are pretty impressive.

For the first time ever, we let a company come out and outline the front edges of our rooflines. Nothing too fancy. I like the way it turned out. I’m loving the pics already in this thread!

I don't think our outside lights are anything special, but I took this photo inside and it turned out nice.
