Besides who the hell wants to go to northern California in late December for a bowl game? SoCal, Florida, Texas, etc. are all warm and a party atmosphere. Santa Clara? Yeah, let's go to a football game and hang out at Starbuck's afterwards. Sorry, I'd rather hang out on the redneck riviera drink beer and enjoy the drunken debauchery of a bowl game weekend.

The Big 12 is 4-2 in bowl games with Oklahoma and Iowa St to go. Another solid showing.
