I'm not sure if this belongs here so admins please move if necessary but I wanted to give two thumbs up for Crimson Trace and their outstanding customer service.

I know lasers aren't for everyone but I like them and have them on a variety of carry and home defense pistols. Crimson Trace has a program where they will send owners free batteries for their lasers, annually for life. For years I took advantage of this program and it was as simple as calling their number, verifying my mailing address and they would send me all the batteries I needed for all my registered products. In the last few years I have been doing less shooting and was traveling quite a bit so I never got my annual supply. This year I found out their system changed as they lost their entire database and needed us to re-register our products using the application form on the website. While it was repetitive and tedious to do for each one (some of which I didn't feel like taking apart to get the serial number) Crimson Trace made good and delivered me all the batteries with or without the serial numbers. Here's what I got in the mail yesterday:

Moreover, about 10 years ago I had a problem with one of the grips and one of the rail modules. On both occasions I called Crimson Trace and a live person answered and handled my claim. For both products I received brand new replacements and some extras like lense Q-tips, additional adjustment tools and microfiber clothes. In an age where customer service has been lacking, I've been very happy with every interaction I've had with Crimson Trace and speaking to a live person each time I call in and select the appropriate department.

That’s good to hear since they were acquired by …. SMITH???? I had occasion to use their customer service many years ago because of something I BROKE. As in I the user boogered up their perfectly good product and I made it clear to them it was MY fault and asked if they could fix for me and I would give them my credit card. They said they wouldn’t hear of it and said they were already sending me a replacement and just asked if I could return the broken unit when I had time.

I was gobsmacked and kept saying I SCREWED UP NOT YOU. She just kept laughing saying no worries mistakes happen.

I have always spoke highly of them and bought other products since then. Sounds like they haven’t lost that service of the customer mindset and that makes me happy.

Take Care, Shoot Safe,
Chris

Yes, I have to get on the phone with them. It's been a couple of years since I got new batteries from them. COVID had an impact on them at one point.
