Flirting with 60° and wall-to-wall sunshine, so I suited up and went for a brief ride. Glorious!

Texted my daughter to tell her about it and she replied with a picture of her manicure. Well, one finger of it anyway... Razz Big Grin

Hoping to do the same soon.
Though, now I have to borrow my father in law's to get out for a ride, since the Vulcan went back to my dads.
Luckily, FiL has 2 (Indian Scout & Victory CC Tour) so we get out from time to time.

Yesterday, I took advantage of the amazing weather (71, no humidity, sunny, low winds) and got in 127 miles of wind therapy in the National Forrest. Longest ride yet on the new bike.

Took the LiveWire for a 74 mile ride, 40% left, going to see if I can stretch that. But twisting that full torque is too dam fun!

fwbulldog, happy belated birthday. I also rode in Sam Houston National Forest yesterday. Furthest north I went was Hwy 150 between Waverly and Cold Spring.

I got out today as well. Trusted the 10 day forecast and took a vacation day tomorrow with nothing to do but ride.

I've had the Tenere' and CRF1100 out a couple times and once, for the first time since I redid the suspension, the XT250. Yep it feels great to finally get some helmet time.

I’m jealous, had surgery two weeks ago torn tendon. I’m in this damn brace for another 4 weeks & still 3.5 months away from weight bearing exercises. Frown
But I’ve sure been hearing the “Hogs” out running around.
Glad you got out.

BIG ol' Ten-roger on that one! Really only had one short stretch where I had a little pucker factor going, but I had planned for it. Chose the wrong line on a tight right-hander and had to ride the yellow line to get out of the sand. Should have taken the inside track, but the road does a 90+ degree corner right around a building. And I do mean RIGHT around. If there were a door on that side of the building, you'd step right into the traffic lane. Couldn't see shit so it was a coin toss.

Fortunately, I know that corner well and it's always a mess so I was slowed right down to a crawl.

Bumped into my neighbor this afternoon while he was working on his 67 Camaro, seems he took advantage of the nice weather too & got the Harley out this morning.
Man I miss having a bike in the garage.

New toy coming soon, though.

I've been riding to work nearly every day for the past two weeks. 30 degrees, raining, riding anyway. I haven't had a road bike in 35 years, so this year I purchased a 1977 Yamaha XS650 and a 1981 Honda CB900C. Just came back a few minutes ago from a 30 mile ride with my son.

I don't care, I'm riding even in the cold. I don't care if I freeze my nuts off. At my age, I don't really need them anyway.

Not my first ride, but had a nice ride with my wife on a 2003 VMax. Rode out to the National Cemetary of the Alleghenies, and then out to lunch.

Eventually we will upgrade to a GoldWing. Maybe sooner than later.

I had the CB-1100 out a few times. Checked a few things, plan a few errands today. I have the gear to ride snowmobiles, but like it above 50 for motorcycling.

Are you familiar with this site? It's SigForum for XS650's.
