Those are the tiny little batteries for Ear Pro Muffs. They go into the earpieces and provide the power for electronics.

An N battery is a single 1.5-volt alkaline (or, less commonly, carbon-zinc or rechargeable NiMH) cell. It is 30.2 mm long and 12.0 mm in diameter. N cells are used in various small electronic devices

All over that large e-commerce site that starts with an "A". E-90 is apparently the common name for an N-cell (N4 yielded no search hits)

The batteries that go in these:Pro Ears Pro Mag Gold Series Electronic Shooting Ear Muffs (NRR 30)

I hope I ordered the right batteries. They are too small to read. The damn description of these muffs does not say shit about the batteries. I ordered batteries from Altus a week ago and still not shipped. I am looking for another supplier. I will hope I got the right ones they are N batteries with 1.5 volts.

Next time you need these, try an auto parts store. These batteries are commonly used in aftermarket key fobs.

I know it's what my fathers truck takes for the remote starter, and I find them at Advance Auto. Be sure not to get the A23, they're close in size with the A23 a bit smaller, but the A23 is 12v vs the 1.5 of the N.

I shall respect you until you open your mouth, from that point on, you must earn it yourself.

Well I did get a nice email explaining Michigan was on lockdown. Meanwhile the quest continues. Turns out Walmart has them but will not deliver until April 29th. Well live and learn.

Lots of times I've found odd batteries at Walgreens and Ace Hardware. I buy my red dot batteries from Ace so I can check the dates.

I don't see the problem here. "N" batteries are used in a lot of places. Microphones, calculators, medical equipment.

They are not hard to get.

confused. Am I missing something?

FWIW, I got to where I took the batteries out of my electronic ear muffs after shooting; I kept leaving the damn things on. They last a long time if you do that Wink

Is anyone concerned about counterfeit batteries purchased through Amazon? Or are the N not a type anyone would bother with?

Our local Safeway always has N batteries.

Many older medical things use them.
