| In the end, the article taught us nothing except the character of the author. Way to go. |

| Regardless of his opinion, it’s likely more about the clicks and Benjamins. It’s a shame of society that a gross example of the absence of critical thinking gets airtime.

| Deadspin hasn't been relevant since Will Leach left in 2008. They used to be sorta funny until then. I thought the Hulk Hogan trial collapsed that whole group but I guess not. |

| This is a fine example of what an old boss of mine called "dictating on horseback". Dude took one look at a kid in facepaint and concluded there was necessarily something racist about it, and naturally had to dish off an article about it. This is why I hate the internet. Any dumbfuck with a computer can express an opinion with zero vetting on anyone's part. Then everybody goes into overdrive about it. Everybody is beyond tired of this kind of internet Karen, especially when it concerns a kid. You can find examples of this across the entire political spectrum.

A young person sees the world as a still picture, immutable. An old person has had his nose rubbed in changes and more changes and still more changes so many times that that he knows it is a moving picture, forever changing. He may not like it--probably doesn't; I don't--but he knows it's so, and knowing is the first step in coping with it."

Maybe, but it was probably more about thinking he could create a story that would go viral and make him money, it backfired, and that is a great thing about X and Musk, all the people that piled on him about the garbage he posted would never have been allowed before. Now the rest of us have a platform/voice that can counter the leftist only side that Twitter allowed and the press used as a source. Interesting what happens when the world see two sides of a story/reaction.... |

They dang well should, on his behalf. The "child" portion of this is exactly why the Nick Sandman lawsuits were successful. |

| I probably won't watch the whole game today, but I do wonder if the kid will show up on the broadcast at all.
God bless America. |
