Go to work for Chick-fil-A. They close all of their stores on Sunday.

Yes, you'll be a burger flipper, but at least they're chicken burgers!

You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless.

I now believe it is bad luck to work any day of the week. But before retiring, I was on call 24/7 for network issues. And no, I don't believe it was bad to work on Sundays. Some things need to be attended to immediately, like plumbing leaks, etc. That's why most hardware stores are open (and busy) on Sundays.

I grew up in the South in the 1950's, and still remember Blue Laws, which prohibited many stores from even opening on Sundays.

Nothing to do with superstition ...
It's a day to be thoughtful of others. No loud noise, no disturbing the quietness of relationships. Family get togethers. Socials, laughter, etc....

My work week starts on Sunday, so it's just another day for me.

"But, as luck would have it, he stood up. He caught that chunk of lead." Gunnery Sergeant Carlos Hathcock
"If there's one thing this last week has taught me, it's better to have a gun and not need it than to need a gun and not have it." Clarence Worley
