SIG 229RWindows 8.1 or whatever is last update Comp. problems
When I use Google Chrome and use new tab and try to open new pages I sometimes get an error and a message that network change has been detected and things load slowly. One Firefox which I am using now the Forum came up slow and the separate threads are very slow to open. Anyone have any ideas what could be going on? Also on IE11 I have to do restore page a lot. I have run Malware anti malware and C Cleaner and everything seems fine and anytime I scan with Microsoft Security Essentials it never shows any problems. I'm completely bumfuzzled.

Here's the deal with MS-Windows (any OS, really): If a compromise gets itself deeply enough into the system, it can hide from attempts to even
see it, much less remove it. That's the whole point of User Access Control (UAC) as of Win7.
The first thing I'd ask it this: Have you modified UAC from its default setting or are you running as Administrator or with Administrator rights? If not: Have you clicked the "ok to modify the system" pop-up at any time
other than when you were doing something (i.e.: an install) that might have reasonably prompted it?
