Eh? Whaaa? You serious? Roll Eyes

Yes, he is serious. He’s among that 1% in this forum whom I just don’t get.

Real simple. He's a hater. Oh he will now probably come back and deny it and tell us how much he supports the Police, how some of his best friends are cops, yada, yada, yada.
We/I have seen and heard all that before. But the bottom line is he doesn't like the Police. And he and others like him will use every incident they come across to illustrate how bad the police are. Ok. Fine. But he and people like him don't even know what they don't know.

This case represented the furthest thing from justice that I've ever witnessed in my lifetime. The absolute furthest, and it's not even close.

I'm still not sure he died of a drug overdose because a number of others have died from the same neck restraint.

https://www.usatoday.com/in-de...ce-holds/3137373001/

n Columbus, Georgia, a 300-pound police officer sat on Hector Arreola’s back while another held a knee to his neck and kept him face down outside his neighbor’s house for six minutes until he stopped moving and later died.

In Phoenix, four police officers placed the weight of their bodies on Muhammad Abdul Muhaymin’s head, neck, back and limbs as he lay face-down and handcuffed before going into cardiac arrest and dying.

Three officers in Aurora, Colorado, tackled Elijah McClain as he walked home with groceries, using a stranglehold around his neck and handcuffing him as he pleaded and vomited. He was removed from life support days later.

In all three cases, the unarmed men uttered the same phrase as police wrestled them into custody.

“I can’t breathe.”

Their warnings were ignored.

At least 134 people have died in police custody from “asphyxia/restraint” in the past decade alone, even though many apparently did not — or could not — express difficulty breathing, according to a review of Fatal Encounters, a searchable database of people who died while interacting with police.
What a totally horse shit article. Just more of the media complete and utter BS in pursuit of their agenda. Did any of those other folks have significant amounts of drugs in their systems? Any of them have major health issues? Come on. Don't fall for this blatant BS. Chauvin got railroaded and I hope the charges are all thrown out on appeal.

Let's hope such a travesty never happens again at the hands and knees of the police.

Fat chance, but a fine hope and goal just the same.

May every day of his sentence be as torturous as George's final moments, pathetic fucking pussy.
You win the internet today for the most irrational post of the day. The world lost nothing when Floyd departed. As a matter of fact, I'd argue it got just a little better. If justice is served in this case, all the charges against Chauvin will be throw out on appeal.

Using a department approved and taught restraint procedure while being filmed by at least two dozen people. Yeah, that seems plausible. Roll Eyes

Are we going to go through this again?

No, we are not. It seems to me this thread is asking to be locked.

Sorry Para. I didn't know his history and probably should have ignored his insane post instead of calling it out causing so many others to chime in.

46and2, you test my patience with this kind of thing. You know where you are and you know the kind of reaction such remarks will elicit, and yet you posted it anyway. You need to control that crap, and I'm not asking.

"...even after he became unresponsive — resulting in the Black man’s death."

Not unsurprisingly, the AP couldn't even get through the first sentence of the article without offering up a lie. So just to tally up the final score, Floyd is dead, Chauvin is headed to jail, hundreds of millions in damage has been inflicted across the country....and not a damn thing has changed. And that's the rest of the story.

Chauvin is an innocent man. He should be released immediately and retire comfortably at the expense of the city of Minneapolis.

Evil exists. You can not negotiate with, bribe or placate evil. You're not going to be able to have it sit down with Dr. Phil for an anger management session either.

Since we’re back on the subject… laws have things called “elements”. Elements have to be met for the crimes that are alleged to be proven in a court of law. If you took each charge levied against Chauvin, it is painfully clear that he did not meet the required elements. It should be easy to determine, even by idiots with no understanding of that process, that Chauvin was convicted by the court of public opinion rather than a result of proper due process.

Facts are irrelevant to the mob and their misguided supporters of any stripe. Floyd was a career criminal. The community was better off without his continued presence. There is ZERO proof that Chauvin intentionally killed him, though he was convicted of exactly that. He was sacrificed to appease the mob and their supporters to salve their sanctimony.

The video posted above by steve459 needs to be watched and circulated. I knew about most of what was shown as to how the narrative was pushed by Walz, Ellison and all the rest of the local scum and the local and national media. Listening to and watching the ex Minneapolis police officers tell their stories was heart wrenching. The betrayal that was done to them is astonishing and those who did it all advanced upward.

When he gets out of prison he will never be able to stop looking over his shoulder there are places he could go and live in anonymity but prison is probably better. The man will never have a life after this.
