Early voting in person begins in Georgia
I early-voted in person today. There was a decent-sized crowd.

I've posted this before, but the congressional district I'm in has not had a Democrat representative since 1881. Currently it is Diana Harshbarger. I presume past voting records for president are similar. Some of the counties comprising it voted as much as 80-20 for Trump the last two elections. That doesn't make my vote superfluous or redundant.

TX Early Voting started on Monday 10/21
I work remote on Wednesdays, so I figured it wouldn't be as busy today. There wasn't an empty spot in the parking lot, and the line was probably 150 people deep.

Found out when I got home that the polls don't open until 8a this week, so they hadn't even started when I pulled in.
7a-7p this Saturday & all next week, going to try again then.

Voted in SC yesterday morning. Waited in line about 45 minutes to vote. The line was about the same when I got back outside.

Would it be better to wait until election day to vote in order to make it more difficult for cheating to occur?

Based on previous elections my thinking, at present, is that early voting gives a better picture of how much to influence the system, and more time to do it. Is that a valid concern?

Voted this morning. I was ready to stand in a long line. I had my phone and ear buds charged up, but, there was no line to speak of, took me less than 15 minutes. It seems, thankfully, they have eliminated the need for filling out a paper form before voting; just show ID and then vote.

Voted day 2. Arrived at 815, 12-15 voters already in line, doors opened at 830. 15 min top walking in, being verified, voting and walk out. I'm lucky to have a polling location literally across the street from my neighborhood entrance.

Took my 89 yoa mom, lives in same county but 30min from me, on last Friday. Closest location is 10min from her. Parked in handicap at front door. They walked her right in to verification. Voted and out in 10min. Line was an 1-1.5 hr wait. Pays to be old at times.

If you really want to vote there is no excuse not to be able to.

I voted on the first day of early voting in Michigan. We stood in line for an hour. Not much for standing in line, but it had to be done. A friend and her hubby voted the next day and the line was even longer. Lots of voting going on! YEA!!
