I think I saw an ark on the way to work this morning! We have been hammered with the rain.

LOTS of rain here in San Diego too. Frequent “Flash flood” warnings on my iPhone. I think that the drought has broken.

6.69 inches this week.
School out due to a few flooded roads since Monday.
More rain coming today, warnings from Emergency Management last night that today would be worse.

Yea a lot of rain, but like everything else these days this has way over dramatized here. Wake me up when they have to close the flood gate in the levee at the bridge in town.

Collecting dust.

Floodmageddon 2019!!!

We could all die at any second! Let's go live to the reporter standing in a ditch to tell us it's wet and there's flooding.

That figures...... I'm heading there in a couple days, had the hope of seeing blue sky and to just walk on dry ground.

I was doing a little rainfall research for middle Tn the other day. It was surprisingly hard to find the data I was looking for.

For Nashville, I saw that the last 2 years we are 4-6" more than average. The part that is killing us is that in the last 2 years we've averaged 40+ more days with rain than average.

We aren't getting a chance to dry out and I really think at this point that SADS is playing a major part in a lot of people being on edge. We need some good sunlight to cheer up.

Really hard to get any infrastructure built on the farm as well.

Okay, people.

Settle down, please.

The first item on the agenda is a question from the carpentry shop.

What in the Hell is a CUBIT?

Any one?

On the bright side, any possible points of leaks in roofs or basements are showing themselves. Roll Eyes Our chimney bring one that leaks from the inside. Only happens with rains this heavy and I’ve been trying to figure out just how it leaks down the inside. Glad I have 4wheel drive. We have had up to 2 feet of flooding on the major roads in town.

That’s a cool video. I do wonder what year it will be when people learn to turn their phone sideways when shooting video.

More rain again today - somebody posted this video of a guy jet skiing in a field next to Bristol Motor Speedway where people usually park and camp.

Local weather said last night that we have had 18 days with rain so far this month. Today makes it 19. I'm getting a little tired of it.

Great idea. As soon as you hit the video button it should automatically rotate your screen. Then the bozos would turn their phone to view it properly.
