Is a 10 year old lab, with no...umm...male dog bits...

Yet he has been humping a balled up blanket with his favorite moose in his mouth like a 15 year old teenager for a solid 30 minutes, with brief breaks to pant and lap up some water.

How does a eunuch dog, 70ish years old in human years, have a sex drive that beats my own?
The poor horn dog can barely walk between episodes. I fully expect him to hump himself into cardiac arrest on the couch as I type this.

Damnedest thing I've ever seen. I'm not drunk...this is a 100% sober observation. Our 10 year old, grey-bearded lab that has no nuts humps for 30 minutes straight. I feel sorry for the poor bastard, that's a lot of effort for no reward.

Knowing what one is talking about is widely admired but not strictly required here.

Although sometimes distracting, there is often a certain entertainment value to this easy standard.

Wife's cat, also fixed, does the same thing, except he carries around a red shoelace (he has several, but only the red for sexy time). Here's also neutered. No idea and he's done it for years.

My golden was cut at 6 weeks of age.

He, on occasion, will begin humping the legs of women who come over. Never guys, nor anything else. Just chicks.

It's rather comical, but interesting to try to figure out. He's never been laid, so it's not learned behavior.

My guess is the pheromones in certain women trigger his innate need to hump. He takes after his old man in that regard.

He's not exhibiting a "sex" drive, more so a "dominance" role. He's trying to show you who's boss, or, at least, second boss. When he starts humpin' your leg he'll then be showing you whose boss.

Sex is in your head, not your gonads. The Castrata were some of the best lovers in the Roman world because there was no threat of pregnancy.

My seven year old cat began doing that recently. He waits until I am in the recliner and watching TV, then gets in my lap to do it. Like dancing and making biscuits.

I have to push him off and he meows and looks very offended. He meows like that only at that time.

Very strange.
