In Alaska and loving it!!! Spent the last two days in Denali State Park, got some great pictures!!

2 Grizzly's, many Caribou, red fox momma w/pup, several Big horn sheep and lots of little creatures that reminded me of Prairie dogs.

Lots of miles since Anchorage and days to go. Now staying in a Hobbit House in Talkeetna. This State is rugged as it is beautiful!!

Girdwood and Alyeska to see tomorrow, to see what there is to see.

Not very good at posting pics, but I will try when I get back home.

I put Alaskas up there at the top of the places I've been. Likely right at number 1.

We did Talkeetna on the way to Denali. Had some great local beers at a spot there. Hope you're getting out to Seward. If you have time walk into the NPS ranger station there. It small and will take just a few minutes to see things. All the teams trying to summit log in there and are tracked. Interesting to see the temperatures at diffenernt points on the mountain.

I've been to Alaska twice, 2007 and 2014. Am going again this summer. Awesome place!

Following this thread. I used too sail into Valdez and Dutch Harbor, but didn't really get out and about.

Those little creatures are likely Marmots, a rodent common to the area you are visiting.
