So we had a thread of “Show us Yourself”. Well apparently there is a thing going on in LinkedIn where people are uploading a picture to ChatGBT and telling it to turn them into a caricature and add whatever they want.

I thought this might be fun for us. I simply uploaded a picture and told it to make me into a caricature. Apparently I have three hands…LOL.

If you want a laugh, here is an article on when the AI caricature went horribly awry.

I uploaded a photo and typed in some hobbies/interests so mine didn't go awry:

I am NOT cheerful...

Ok, I've never used ChatGPT before but thought I'd give it a shot just to see what it's all about. Uploaded a recent photo and said Marine pilot. Here's what it came up with.

I guess given the vague topic I provided it did ok.

What is spooky is that on mine all I did was upload a picture of myself in a suit in front of the Texas State Capitol and only told it to make me into a caricature. Somehow it knew my line of work, but I guess because I have used ChatGBT for some work stuff so it knows/remembers what I do.

Hopefully more people do this. I am enjoying each picture so far. I like angry teacher monkey.

Looking at the flag patch on your right sleeve. Somebody should tell AI that the field on the flag should be facing forward.

Long ago the convention was that when the US flag was displayed the field was supposed to be at the upper left. The Mauldin cartoon makes the flag patch visible on both soldiers, but I believe most commonly only one was worn and on the right arm as shown.

I understand that now it is commonly displayed as if it were being carried on a pole by a Color Sergeant while advancing toward the enemy, but that’s not how it used to be.
