Davis Vantage Pro2 - love it! I have the anemometer and sensor on 8' pole on the 16' roof of a gazebo, and send the wireless data to consoles in the shop and the house. Solar powered augmented by a single battery; so far the sensor battery has lasted 2 years.

I have a Davis Vantage VUE Pro Weather Station, very accurate and reliable. I like the colored viewing of the accurate, but Davis makes a very good product.

Like others I have the Davis Vantage Pro 2, sadly is not in your price range but it will be cheaper to buy it now. When the less expensive goes toes up and you replace it it will be one of those moments when you say, I should have gotten the Davis unit...

Good luck, love checking the weather remotely.
