2 Grizzly Bears in British Columbia got into a tiff. Starts out with what seems to be a bad breath contest, then gets wild. They are big and powerful, I don't even want to get near one, even in a car, I'm sure they can rip a car open quickly.

Little bear had the advantage at :40, didn't capitalize on it, then got taken out to the woodshed! Looks like you don't get no lovin' for another year.

Nah, just a lesson administered by the alpha. When the beta gave up, the job was done. Interestingly, there are subsets of our population that need to be taught a similar lesson and made to back down and learn their place. When that line is well established, order is maintained, whether in the animal world or human society.

Looks like size matters, also a way to lose an eye.

Up the road a bit is another critter, possibly a wolf crossing the road. Seems like a tough area to be a prey animal. When going for a walk one may want to carry a 454 with extra rounds.

When I was younger my family used to have a condo in NH just outside of North Conway. The condo association had a public area with a pool, restaurant, golf course and.... dumpsters.

About 30 of us were in the parking lot watching a large black bear climb into one of the dumpsters. As soon as it climbed in an old woman pulled up in her car and everyone started yelling at her and waving at her. She looked at us for a minute as if thinking what is wrong with these people, threw her trash bag into the dumpster onto the bear, got in her car and drove off.

It's hard to identify what walked out of the wood line at :33, could be a dog, coyote, wolf, or even a bear cub which would explain a lot.

Whatever it was had the sensibility to keep it's distance.

All I know is if you came upon that fight at night after a long night at the bar and saw them throwing blows on their hind legs, the rest of your life you would tell the story of when you saw two Big Foots fighting!
