Don’t know about Beto, he was close, (far to close) but still lost after spending 66 million on his election attempt, and did not share any of his money with others. Other than being a skate border,playing in a punk band, and trying to condem a heavy Hispanic area of El Paso down so his FIL could buy or up and develope it. He’s a scumbag.

He came within 2% of winning the Senate election over the incumbent Ted Cruz in TEXAS. Cruz had to pull out all the stops and fund raise nationwide in what should have been an easy blowout election.
