Staring back from the abyss
| The River House is one of my favorites. Best gumbo you'll ever have. Kind of depends on what you are looking for though. Savannah is filled with good eats. It's hard to go wrong. Another of my favorite places is a place called Jazz'd Tapas Bar. All they serve are appetizer sized foods, but they are VERY good. Pick several of them and you've got yourself a good meal. They also have live music there...not loud or overwhelming, just good atmosphere.

| There are a lot of great places in Savannah but the one place I have to hit every time I'm there is Circa 1875: https://www.circa1875.com/Great food, service and ambience if you enjoy a relaxing dining experience.

| We've eaten at The Shell House several times on our way to FL. It's right off I-95 one exit south of I-16. It's been a couple years since we've been there though. https://www.shellhouseseafoodsavannah.com

Caribou gorn
| Husk has the pedigree. Originally a Xharleston restaurant there are now 3 more in Greenville, Nashville, and Savannah. IMO (and I've spent a lot of time in Savannah) the Husk in C-town is better than any meal I've ever had in Savannah. I've heard good things about The Grey, 700 Drayton, and Elizabeth on 37th. And The Wyld out on the Wilmington R. If you're out on Tybee, then The Deck is my favorite.
I'm gonna vote for the funniest frog with the loudest croak on the highest log. |

This. Don’t waste your money.

"Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil... Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel." - Isaiah 5:20,24 |

From my one trip to Savannah, that's the one I remember.
