Pretty nice. Who was controlling the drone especially when you were driving through the puddle?

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Nice, I've been flying a Mini 2 for about a year, they are a lot of fun. Just be careful, no obstacle avoidance on the Mini. If you are worried about hitting stuff they make a prop guard that isn't too costly.

If you just let go of the sticks it'll hover and try to stay put. I should have parked it a little higher. I intended to go to the right side of the drone, but some river rock altered my path at the last second and I ended up going to the left. Much closer than I wanted to be.

Cool drone video!
Tiger questions: How is that seat comfort wise? My S1000XR had a similar design and the further I rode, the more I slid forward against my tank, squishing my gonads in a non-fun way. I was good for about 45 minutes before I needed to stop and de-squish.
How are the Ram mount mirrors? I put mirror mount extenders on my BMW for the OEM mirrors but they still suck.

The seat could be better. It has 2 settings for height. I use the high front setting, and the low rear setting. So that offsets the downward slant quite a bit. It's good for 2 hours or so before I have to take a good break. I'm looking into a more comfortable saddle for my long haul trip later this year. They're not cheap.

The folding mirrors are perfect. Considering how often I drop this bike I'd have spent a fortune in hard-mounts. When I get into "likely to drop it" territory I just fold them inside the bark busters radius. They also make great mounts for GoPro, etc. Anything with a 1" ball. The only complaint I have about them is they get a bit fuzzy at 80 mph due to vibration. That's probably more an issue with the bike and tires (t-plane 3 cylinder and 50/50 tires).

Thanks! I looked into a custom saddle for the XR but it was $$$ so I passed. I will go ahead and get a set of the folding mirrors. I have seen my shoulder enough.

Another cool option is the Rottweilers.

This is just scratching the surface. I fly drones for a living (construction), full-time. You should see the other uses (measurements, volume calculations, etc) in addition to video (which I do a lot of as well).
FAA certifications, controlled airspace, flight plans, working with ATC just like you do in your day job.
It's a rabbit hole that is fun to watch others go down, like the OP.

Kinda making me want a drone over here. I dunno what I'd do with it, but that looks pretty neat.

My wife: "Why do you need another drone?"
Me: "Why do you need another Gucci bag?"
My wife: "touche..."

Same. My example is “black shoes” instead of Gucci.

Spent the weekend at Big Bend National Park. You can't operate a drone from inside the park, but there is some very cool terrain in the area.
