Planned to clean the pistols I took to the range Wednesday. But the man cave (still a work in progress) is cold and I thought "Why haul the supplemental space heater for the computer room down there again? Just go get another." "Honey, when you were on Costco last, did they still have space heaters?" "I think so," she replied.

Off we went.

Well, no, they didn't have any space heaters. What they did have was 43" Samsung 1080P TVs that were on the chopping block. I don't need nor want 4K, so I figured I'd save the $70 while the savin' was good.

Walked in for a small electric space heater. Walked out with a 43" TV

(No, the pistols did not get cleaned.)

The wife and I went in to get a few things and bought so much crap that we couldn't fit it all in the vehicle so we had to make two trips, after we picked up the second load we laughed all the way home.

Pro tip:
DON't USE A CART. I go to costco rarely these days (because Sams club is closer to where I live) but when I do I make myself a list and never grab a cart on the way in. I usually head to the frozen food section and grab a box to put my items in.

It's a pain carrying all my stuff around but I have saved a ton of $$

I've never spent less than $100 at Costco even when I went in to get bottled water for $4 a case. It's horrible, we just ran out of milk this morning because I kept putting off going there to get more for the same reason. It's a running joke in our house.

They just replaced the carts at our local Costco with even BIGGER carts. Mad But the same cart rules still apply: You cannot leave Costco until the cart is full.

I let my membership lapse. They never had what I needed. I did get a couple of years worth of hearing aid batteries though.

More often than not. But I do only get a cart when it's TP, tissue or PT time and I get those first to fill it faster.
