Black...

Best of luck with your son. I do not have kids, but it does not make me immune to your situation.

That being said... You are in Cincy and have never been to an NHL game? What the hell, man???

If you want, you can come to Columbus and I will make arrangements for you to attend a Blue Jackets hockey game. I am a season ticket holder from day 1 (25 years). My seats are 5 rows from the glass in the attack twice side of the ice (you see plenty of checks with snot and other bodily fluids smeared across the glass on some of the more violent checks). I can get 4 adjacent seats right on the aisle (I am part of a 4 person partnership). Most of the people in my row have been season tickets holders for 25 years as well and we are all friends. I can get more than 4 tickets if needed.

My current house is a little to small for you to stay here, so you would need to stay at a local hotel. BUT, this time next year I will be in my retirement home with several guest rooms if you want to do it next season.

E-Mail me if you want to discuss.

Again... good luck.

I am about 2 hours south of Cincy now. Growing up in Cincy in the 90s we had The Cyclones (I think they are IHL) and The Mighty Ducks (not sure what league they were) but they were a lot of fun.
I moved away from Cincy a little over 20 years ago.

If I am ever around Columbus and it’s hockey season I may have to take you up on that. I was up there a little a month ago as I bought my wife a Navigator from a Lincoln dealer up there.

Just let me know... The offer is an open one.

I have not been to Philly for a game, but I am sure it will be fun. Nationwide Arena was and still is voted one of the best fan experiences in the NHL. Although the arena is 25 years old, it still looks and feels brand new. And the area surrounding the arena is beautiful with a relatively new ball park and soccer stadium. And the nightlife is awesome (I would still carry in the area though).

Be well... and good luck again with your son.

Got back from Philly late last night through lots of rain and 1 flat tire.
The folks at CHOP were awesome talked to lots of doctors, nurses, care coordinators. We had done some labs here a month or so back but found that there was an issue. So they took a lot more blood and did some more swabs. Mostly genetic testing so results aren't very quick.
Mostly just sitting with a lot of doctors and medical folks pretty much going through his medical history for the last 10 years. They bounced some new thoughts about why he may be having some issues and ordered some more tests and are brining an immunologist to the team.

I had not been to Philly since I was a pretty young kid. We stayed right in the middle of of Chinatown. Did lots of walking to see the sights and took a guided tour. Saw the Rocky statue and ran the steps. Wish we had more time.
I really really enjoyed it. We were a couple of blocks from Reading Terminal Market (which is amazing). All the food the smells what a culinary delight. It was great as there were a number of completely Gluten Free spots so my boy got to eat soft pretzels and corn dogs. We ended up eating there pretty much every meal as they had a lot for him.
We also went to the Flyers vs Penguins game and it was one hell of a game. Went to overtime, both teams had a goal overturned in overtime to take it to a shoot out and the Flyers ended up winning with one pretty decent fight at the end.

We are now officially a Flyers family. We had great seats just 9 rows for the ice and was a pretty hard hitting game.
I don't understand a lot of the rules so guess I need to start watching more hockey.

Overall a great trip super busy. I think I like Philly a lot.
