Granted I am not using the super dooper fancy top end models just middle of the road.
They provide all the quality picture and video I need but are limited to 32GB SD cards.
Running pics and video. I get about 3 months of storage. I don’t really want to drop the quality. The locations I have them I don’t get to check them in the winter so they go about 5 months between the time I can get to the card.
I would love to use one that has cell signal but there is very little service where I have them.

Maybe this will help.

Or, based on dash cams, this: "The main reason DashCam products only support 32GB is because it's cheaper to use older style SDHC bus readers to meet their price point. There is supposed to be some kind of backwards compatibility factored in, but not sure how reliable it is." [from DashCamTalk]

Thanks. Did not realize there was a difference.

Got this one as I was driving up yesterday on my new cheap deer camera. I think it was less than $60 and it has a 32g card in it.

Yup. All mine were about $60 each and give nice quality like that.
One I don’t want to drop the quality as it picks up every vehicle and license plate clear as could be even at night that comes on the property.
But like I said winter it can be about 5 months and I get about 3 on a 32GB card.

I could drop the video I guess but it gives me a better idea of where they go.
Granted it’s very infrequently anyone is or should be there that is not me or I don’t know.
This particular spot is one of the favorites of the coyotes and get some good shots.

I am using cheapo WOSPORTS from Amazon normally like $50.
On sale currently for $28
WOSPORTS Trail Camera Full HD 1080P Hunting Game Camera,Motion Activated Night Vision, Waterproof Scouting Cam Wireless Video Camera for Wildlife Monitoring/Home Security https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q..._api_i_YyEiFbSDC6EYA

Just got done going through my pics and finally got my bear on camera.
Granted I only got the back end. I need to trim some branches that are blocking the motion from picking up on the right side sooner.

I ordered some more cameras today to have better coverage.

My others have been up for 2 years in temps from below zero to over 100 and have not failed.

Only failure was my fault. I was a little hasty in removing the batteries and one of the little springs came out and I did not notice and the camera did not work. I put the spring back and we are back in business.
