PASigHe could end up being another Romney for all we know.

fpuhanSo Trump recently tweeted the name of his favorite Democrat: Mitt Romney.
I wonder if he'll reconsider if Sessions wins.
You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless.

parabellumWe'll see what on election day? Everything we need to know about Sessions has already been on public display. I don't particularly give a shit whether he wins or loses. I just know what the man has demonstrated about his will to fight, which is that he has no such will. If it doesn't come easy, Sessions has no stomach for it.
If you think Sessions getting elected changes his shameful display of weakness at a critcal time in this nation's history, you're wrong. It doesn't change a thing, and if you stood outside the polls and asked voters as they left, what they know of Sessions' behavior in his time as the USAG and how he damaged this nation I doubt that one in twenty voters could even begin to answer the question.
Whether or not he is elected is not a referendum on his time as USAG. No referendun is needed. History speaks for itself, and so do his actions.

Jeff? Is that you? Tinyman works pretty well, I guess. Thanks for not going with something creepy like “Pierre Delecto” or “Carlos Danger.”

BBMWIf it takes him to take the seat away from the Democrats, I'm fine with him. If Alabama can come up with another Republican that can win the seat, I'd have no problem with that either. I don't want to have it stay with the Democrats.

No, it's not Jeff. I chose Tinyman because Tiny was used. I got Tiny back working @ Pease NH back in 1978.
Tinyman (not Jeff)

midwest guySessions is as close to a sure thing in the Bama primary.
November 07, 2019, 07:06 PM
stoic-oneWhile I won't vote for him in the primary because I think he's a weasel, if it somehow ends up being between him and Doug Jones in November, I would still vote for him in 2020. As much of a weasel as he is, I'd still take him over pretty much any Dem.
I'm not sure he'll make it through the primary though...

flashguyI heard him being interviewed by Tucker Carlson this evening. It went fairly well. I'm not from Alabama so really have no say in the matter. We'll just have to see what the Alabamans do.

Yes, it did, because Tucker didn't challenge Sessions' false claim that he had to recuse himself, he had no choice. I watched the interview, but I guess my imagination ran away with me because this is what I heard:
S: So, people told me that I needed to run away and hide in a hole.
C: People?
S: Yes, people who know all about rules and shit. They said "Run away and hide in a hole, Jeff."
C: So, you left the president to deal with utter bullshit for more than two years....
S: What could I do? From down in the hole, I mean.
C: And now that your cowardice hurt Trump's presidency immeasurably, you want him to support your election to the senate?
S: Yes, because I absolutely will support him as a senator, just as I did before he was elected. I'm only a coward as USAG. But I'm Mighty Mouse in the senate! Unless, you know, something really historically crucial and thorny comes up. Then, I have this hole....

mbinkyI wouldn't vote for that
TRAITOR if he was running against Carl Marx himself. Not only did he spend
TWO YEARS protecting the swamp he
LIED to the American people when he said he appointed someone to "look into" things (Huber anyone?)
No, fuck Sessions. He does not deserve to be a senator. He barely deserves to be called an American.
Go away you traitorous POS.

BigboreshooterApparently, Sessions told Tucker Carlson that he hoped Trump would support him.
Hard to believe that he is dumber than he looks, but....

I wouldn't hold it against you one bit. I'd do the same thing.
Hell, I voted for Romney for chrissakes.

And despite his weakness as AG, I don't think he'd be anything like a Romney.

mbinkyWe got Doug Jones because the Rep was a total fuck up.
I'm not an Alabama resident so it's only my opinion, but I don't reward treason. Certainly not with 6 years in the senate.
Two years. Sessions spent two years fucking up Trumps presidency. Imagine how far along the investigation would be if it was started on time, not by Barr two years later. If Mueller and Rosenstein weren't allowed to trample the constitution and peoples rights (Flynn, etc.) This "impeachment" scam wouldn't exist. "Russian collusion" would have been squashed.
No, Sessions cowardice has done innumerable harm to this nation. If I had a say in his election I wouldn't reward it.
