I'm pretty sure there is a lot more to it than that. If that was the standard of employment at that network they wouldn't be able to field two shows a day.

^^^ Well, three thoughts.
- Andrew Cuomo isn't so popular anymore, especially among progressive NY Dems.
- Little Fredo exploited his ties to CNN at the expense of CNN's public pretensions to objectivity.
- Now that Andrew's out, CNN doesn't need an "in" with him anymore.

I hope both sides spend millions with no immediate resolution.
