Beautiful! I was away for a few days, and this is the first post I looked for when I came back.

Oddly and interestingly enough, my home town of Reading PA has a pagoda atop Mt. Penn. (Pic isn't mine, it's from a web search.) I was in Reading this weekend visiting my daughter.




Thus the metric system did not really catch on in the States, unless you count the increasing popularity of the nine-millimeter bullet.
