I had the same thoughts lbj. How many of the 500+ injured were injured trying to escape vs being shot? Were the 59 dead all from a gsw? Haven't heard anything regarding g that yet and doesn't make it any less tragic, but is a valid point and I see no reason why you'd get flamed for your statement.

That looks more like someone was flickering a light in that room. Probably a setup after the fact.

AugenIt doesn't look like anything other than a reflection to me and I don't recall seeing any other broken out windows.
Grasping for a motive when it was a madman. maybe he wanted to kill some conservatives. Looking for antifa connection is desperation.

Now, now, let’s not bring logic or reason in to this. How can two grainy, jerky videos be wrong? Probably used glass cutters (readily available on Amazon) to cut a firing port, then replaced the glass afterwards before making their escape.
Never mind that people from adjoining rooms on the 4th floor weren’t calling 911 or the front desk like the ones on the 32 floor were. Of course the accomplishes probably tapped into the hotel switchboard and took it over like that episode of the A-Team.

TXJIMI am not promoting a conspiracy theory and understand there are a bunch conspiracy theorist that have jumped on this but I am not jumping to or drawing any conclusions.
This is just raw video taken by a cab driver who pulls up, loops through the portico and then pulls away as dispatch advises them that there are shots fired (even though you can hear them in the video). Two things are striking, on the ground right outside the hotel no one seems to know anything is happening. The cab driver even rolls down the window and tells some loitering guest "there are shots fired". At the 4:50 point in the video the cab clears the portico and circles in front of the hotel as the shooter opens up again. Muzzle flashes are very clear only a few floors above the main entrance to the hotel. Not anywhere near the 32nd floor or the corner of the building. Again, maybe just a reflection with all of that bronze glass.

DtechA well respected and experienced criminal profiler and psychologist commented this morning that based on the information currently available and the circumstances and venue involved, it is indicating that this scumbag's motivation was likely very similar to the shooter that attacked the congressmen. The investigation will obviously reveal more. He went into detail about how different motivations are more prominent than others based even on the age of the perpetrator and that an old(er) murderer is most frequently driven by a more specific issue or ideological perspective. It is virtually always a younger killer that is looking to make a name for themselves and just kill for the sake of killing. I happen to agree with his assessment in this case but only time will tell.
