Route 91 fest Vegas shooting?
Hard to imagine there were no reports of noise on the hotel floor. Armed hotel security should have been able to get there fast, to engage the shooter? Why was he able to shoot for such a long time?

I am certainly not an expert, but if I were in the room next door, I would have been very glad if I were legally armed, and ready to act.

I realize this is armchair quarterback stuff, but I wonder why nobody was able to take this guy out sooner.

Imagine if this happened in a less gun-friendly state?

More gun control will not solve this problem.
Crazy people will always be able to make the first move. We need to be able to act confidently to make the second move.

That's odd.

With 10 guns, I wonder why didn't he keep shooting the entire time. True the crowd scattered after the first ten minutes but he could have potshot at people, vehicles, the airport, etc.

One would think the hotel security could have found the room in a moment or three, whether by watching folks in adjacent rooms freak out or by calls or visually, etc. Finding the guy was probably the easy part, for those in the hotel itself. The noise would have been significant, and out of place. I'd guess they were asked to stay back and wait on help.

Not enough info yet.

Reports say people in adjacent rooms were calling and that smoke detectors let the hotel know pretty quickly which room he was in.

Reports also say he had multiple platforms set up, had cameras set up outside the room and had the door barred. The SWAT team used explosives to make entry.

One would assume given his other preparations that he didn't just leave the door open or just use the flimsy hotel locks to shut it.

Fine

But it would be nice if a neighbor with his EDC pistol, could have felt comfortable to "help".

Again, not trying to be an "armchair QB"

That high-priced Columbia legal degree was a positive detriment to her. The Columbia echo-chamber didn't teach her that you can't say those things in public.

Worse, her upbringing didn't teach her she shouldn't be thinking those things in private!

Jews and mass killings. Any clue there as to why you shouldn't be so nonchalant about these things, princess?

Oh, you object to the term 'JAP'? Well, let me tell you, princess- what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Not to worry, princess. You'll be fine. I've no doubt that the one thing you've done in this life is to make sure that you are taken care of. Ain't that right, precious?

While I am aware you need not my agreement to your opinion, I have no objection to your use of the term. It fits her like a crown.

Her friend who was posting in the same FB tree has been outed as well, hit hard in social media, her FB pages are now unaccessible. I'd say her photography business is going to face some lean times in the days ahead. Mental illness.

Same here. What a total POS. As a member of the 'tribe' I have known a lot of JAP's in my life, but none so disgustingly vile and shallow.

Way to wipe your Yom Kippur slate clean asshole! There are not enough Yom Kippur's left in your pathetic life-time to ever cleanse it again. May your Progressive entitlement mentally forever be a ruinous stain on your life!

Entitled hyphenated bitch might be more apt.

Of course, that's not mutually exclusive with JAP.

I have been reading this thread and little else. I simply dont have the mental accuity to describe the disgust at this man, and the warmth and pride of our fellow citizens that took what action they could. My deepest condolences and sympathies to those who are wounded or lost.

Correctamundo. I will never understand most Jews stance on this.
