Is the current update good to go? As many of you know the last update caused system instability. Thanks in advance.

As of today? That, I don't know. But there's been a number of incremental updates between then and now with no issues. Last time I updated (paid version) was three days ago.

I ran the latest update 2 days ago, noticed reduced system performance. Yesterday I uninstalled Malwarebtyes and my system performance was back.

I'll give it a month, reinstall and see how it runs.

I had no problems at all the last update. Or any update.

Edit: I don’t use real time protection. But prior to each backup I disconnect from the Internet and run a Malwarebytes scan. Takes ~20 seconds. I don’t reconnect to the Internet until the backup operation completes. That way, I know that my backups are clean.

If you're using the free version they 'give' you a free 14 days trial of their real time protection stuff. My stuff always runs slower till I disable those settings.

Yeah, it's the real time protection, just wait out the 14 days.
