I don't buy diesel. My car is gas. But my neighbors buy it from service stations around the Washington, DC metro area and all pay around $3.10 a gallon. $3.50 was an intentionally high estimate, as was my estimate for regular. Fuel is subsidized and taxed at different rates around the country. My guess is Missouri probably taxes fuel less than Northern Virginia and it might even be a bit subsidized. __________________________________ An operator is someone who picks up the phone when I dial 0.

I have driven a truck since 1995. 2x in past 12 years I bought a small car and sold or traded my truck because I didn't need it. 2009 Ford F150 for a Honda Crosstour and a just straight up bought a Kia Forte when we returned from living in England instead of buying a truck. The Forte I bought in Dec 2018. The wife have me 6 months before I would have a truck. I lasted until July. I sold the Kia to the son and bought a Tacoma. I just can't seem to live without one. They are not always practical but owning and driving a truck daily gets in your blood. Its very hard to switch back.I would consider downsizing to a 1/2 ton or a Ford Ranger, Colorado/Canyon or Tacoma. West German Sig P220, P6, P226, BDA
