Selling one? Eek Big Grin

Picking at you... I'm glad to hear it's still a project, and I'm looking forward to reading about the progress.

God bless America.

Odd question, why would gasoline ruin the paint on a motorcycle?

My guess is that the tank had a cheap rattle can paint job or there was not much clear coat left to protect the paint. I had the same thing happen to my Honda on the inside area of the rim of the gas cap when I was trying to dump out old gas, thankfully you can’t see the missing paint on my Honda unless you open the gas cap. The Suzuki’s messed up paint is a bit more noticeable. Big Grin

This bike has one of those good luck bells that one of its previous owners hooked to the front of the bike. It’s probably bad luck to remove it but the damn bell is super annoying.

I found someone with a bandit 400 motor a few cities over for $400. Might not be a bad idea to pick up a spare working motor.
