Brad usually recommends a Maytag. I don't know what model number and hopefully he'll be along shortly to chime in.

I had this same question maybe a year ago and App. Brad recommended this..Maytag, Model MDB8969SDH Best washer I have ever had. Very quiet.

I checked with a local dealer, who told me that model is no longer available. They offered a model with a similar, but not the same, model number. I don't remember what the "substitute" model number was, but it was close to this one.
I checked with Brad, he told me it was the same dishwasher with a different handle on the door.
