Valerie Jarrett on Low Unemployment Numbers: We Should Look at Obama’s Progress by PAM KEY4 May 201810,168 Friday on CNN’s “New Day,” former senior advisor to President Barack Obama, Valerie Jarrett said today’s announcement that the unemployment rate was 3.9 percent, the lowest since 2000, was a continuation of Obama’s progress. Host Alisyn Camerota asked, “The breaking news that we just had moments ago were the new job numbers, the lowest in anybody’s memory, 3.9 percent unemployment rate. It’s been 15 months of Donald Trump’s presidency. Do you give him credit for that?” Jarrett said, “Look, I think we have to look at it over a longer horizon than that. If you think about what the economy was like when President Obama took office, we were losing 750,000 jobs a month. Under his watch, the unemployment rate dropped in half, and it’s encouraging to see that we’re continuing to make progress. We want to see wages go up and I think that’s an important focus and I was glad to see you talk about that too. So for the workers out there who are back to work today, I think it’s very encouraging.” http://www.breitbart.com/video...ook-obamas-progress/ Wasn't he the one that told us his economy was the "New Normal" _________________________

Why yes, yes he was the one who told us that the economy during his years in office was the "new normal". I gotta say, O sure gets a lot of mileage out of Republicans. - Everything bad during the Obama administration was Bush 43's fault, or the aftermath of cleaning up the mess that Bush 43 supposedly left. - His signature legacy piece, ObamaCare, was a train wreck before it even left the station. Obama's solution? "Well, once it's on the books, it can't be repealed, so we'll make the Republicans come in and do all the hard work it'll take to make the ACA make sense and work well." - Now that he's out of office, well, the economic transformation we've seen during the Trump Administration is either partly or wholly a result of the hard work O did when O was in the White House. Trust a liberal to know how to milk a cow - and not know the difference between a cow and a bunch of bull.

Of course she'll say that. Isn't Obummer giving her free room and board? ********* "Some people are alive today because it's against the law to kill them".

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should |
Anything bad, it's Bush's fault. Anything good, Obama gets credit. Must be all that pent up demand from those crappy years he was busy fixing Bushs' screw ups. ___________________________ Avoid buying ChiCom/CCP products whenever possible.

Maybe free to Obummer, but likely not free to the US taxpayer. "Liberty lies in the hearts of men and women. When it dies there, no constitution, no law, no court can save it....While it lies there, it needs no constitution, no law, no court to save it" - Judge Learned Hand, May 1944

Things don't turn on a dime. Had a RINO been elected, I'd be the first to say "not so fast, it is probably carryover from the prior administration." HOWEVER! When a new administration does a complete 180 on economy and growth-killing policies such as gazillions of new regulations, EPA out of control, high corporate taxes, extremely uncertain regulatory environment and verbal attacks on the "rich" and corporations "you didn't build that" and industries like coal mines and energy... ...and the economy turns around after that? No, that's not coincidence nor is it carry over from the prior administrations. What Obama era policies would be responsible for this growth? And if true, that means once the Trump policies take hold, since they are opposite of Obama's, it will crash right? “People have to really suffer before they can risk doing what they love.” –Chuck Palahnuik Be harder to kill: https://preparefit.ck.page

I guess there is some truth to this, if one takes in to account the BS manipulation of the employment / unemployment numbers Obama started in his reign. -.-. --.- -.-. --.- -.-. --.- -.-. --.- It only stands to reason that where there's sacrifice, there's someone collecting the sacrificial offerings. Where there's service, there is someone being served. The man who speaks to you of sacrifice is speaking of slaves and masters, and intends to be the master. You know what? I punched a pretty mean grumpy this afternoon. I'll attribute that to Nobama. I'm so sick of that jackass. He did enough to screw up my country, so he just needs to dry up and blow away. Just go back to Kenya, ya friggin' haddock! "If you’re a leader, you lead the way. Not just on the easy ones; you take the tough ones too…” – MAJ Richard D. Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel." - Isaiah 5:20,24

Both sides do this. The party currently in power wants credit for everything that's going well, and wants to blame their predecessors for any problems. The party not in power wants to claim all the current good is the result of their work to put things in motion, and any problems are due to the other party taking control. This is "ops normal" for both parties, and ignores the fact that when it comes to the economy, the government rarely has any real impact, and when it does it's most likely to be negative. Only the private sector can truly drive change in the economy, and is much more likely to be able to make a positive impact. ___________________________________________ "He was never hindered by any dogma, except the Constitution." - Ty Ross speaking of his grandfather General Barry Goldwater "War is the remedy that our enemies have chosen, and I say let us give them all they want." - William Tecumseh Sherman

Low unemployment is due to Obama, because President Obama was such a complete, total fuck up that disgust with him propelled into office the man who was capable of turning around the economy, Donald Trump. I posted the below a couple days ago in The Trump Presidency : Year II: The last two days I have heard about a dozen different leftist callers and guests on conservative talk radio programs saying the economy improving was all because of Obummer and of course all guns are the root of all evil......it was almost as if the DNC and Soros released another memo with talking points to the rabid followers.
