Spectacular! Massive flames, beautiful clear cool evening, no clouds, perfect launch!

Pictures from my dad, he lives right on the Indian River just north of Canaveral Seashore by about 50 miles, so he has a perfect angle to watch launches.

The last image shows the first stage rocket separation.

Wow! Those are fantastic pics!

Years ago I remember watching a rocket launch from Wallops Island Virginia. I was actually in central North Carolina but still managed to spot it. I’ll never forget seeing a little red dot climbing in the clear night sky.

Saw it from my front door last night. My Youtube feed told me there was a rocket launch 20 seconds ago, so I ran to the front door just in time to see it clear the roof of my neighbors house.

Spectacular!

My wife and I watched it from our back yard.
It reminded me of how bright the Space Shuttle launches were back in the day, my wife thinks the Falcon Heavy are brighter.
My wife said there might be another one in a few days.

uploaded a video taken with the iPhone of the flight as we catch it when it clears the trees, 30 years later and those trees have gotten quite a bit taller, used to watch the Shuttle and could see it a bit sooner.
