I'm sure this defensive use of a firearm will make national news. Well as the OP points out it's being reported in the Denver Post, which is generally considered "liberal." Also, it's currently on the home of these media sites in Denver: http://www.9news.com/article/n...-aurora/73-529357760 http://denver.cbslocal.com/201...ots-robbery-suspect/ http://kdvr.com/2018/03/16/one...-search-for-suspect/ https://www.thedenverchannel.c...ry-suspect-in-aurora So the only newspaper in Denver, and the four major TV channels based in Denver have all reported it, and aren't burying the stories, since they were all in their homepages at the time I made this post. Therefore your assumption this won't be widely reported is simply not true. ___________________________________________ "He was never hindered by any dogma, except the Constitution." - Ty Ross speaking of his grandfather General Barry Goldwater "War is the remedy that our enemies have chosen, and I say let us give them all they want." - William Tecumseh Sherman

I suppose that depends on your definition of the word "widely." I'm not holding my breath for it to appear on the home page of the Washington Post. https://www.washingtonpost.com/ It's not on their national page yet: https://www.washingtonpost.com...m_term=.37f8385b4aea

Not every shooting gets reported outside the local area, and there isn't anything spectacular about this, that would necessarily motivate media reporting outside the Denver area media. ___________________________________________ "He was never hindered by any dogma, except the Constitution." - Ty Ross speaking of his grandfather General Barry Goldwater "War is the remedy that our enemies have chosen, and I say let us give them all they want." - William Tecumseh Sherman
