Best battery powered cordless drill (and other tools) set?
I have exclusively Milwaykee 18v products. They can't be beat. My father also uses Milwaukee, but bought a Makita micro impact wrench instead because Milwaykee didn't have what he was looking for. I believe they are equivalent quality, take your pick. But consider the rest of their respective lines unless you won't mind multiple battery systems.

I have bosch 12 & 18V tools. They are great quality, but limited tool selection.
If I had it to do over again, I'd skip the 18V Bosch & go Dewalt or Milwaukee, no more often than I use the 18V, I'd consider Ryobi for it tool selection/battery compatibility.

Great advice. I recently purchased a few M12 Fuel tools and find myself using those over 18V tools; compact, lighter, and plenty of power for most purposes. The stubby impact is fantastic.
