Kidney stones, deer, broken phone.... update Login/Join

Well, today was a day that can go down in the history books.

I had another kidney stone attack. I was on my morning route when it struck. I managed to get the route done, parked the bus at the compound and make it to my car.

I drove to the ER and spent four hours in there. Most of the time half dressed along thirsty and cold.

They finally kicked me lose, as I was dressing I dropped my phone and shattered the screen. I walked out of the ER to my car and almost got run over by a deer. Got in my car and was driving through the parking lot and I shit you not a different deer almost ran into the side of my car.

I went to Walmart, where my pharmacy is ( I need to change that ) that turned into a problem, you know the pain meds.... finally got them and went to the Verizon store. Was told that I couldn't keep my number if I got a new phone because I'm on a prepaid plan. So I went the another Verizon store, was told the same thing, that guy told me that Walmart could do what I wanted, so back to the Walmart. Three hours later, because of some technical difficulty with/on Verizon's end my new phone is up and running.... mostly.

I'm still having problems with the phone. The girls at Walmart where able to transfer most of the content from the old phone to the new, but not all.

I'm having problems with getting my work email set up, some other things.

I'm now half drowsy, still hurt like hell, pissed off because I broke my phone and in disbelief that I had not one, but two close encounters with deer in the hospital parking lot. You just can't make this shit up!

Here's to passing a 4mm stone quickly.

Soooo, I just got home from the hospital. After six days and not passing the stone, my Urologist did a Lithotripsy today. Got the booger. But, yeah there is always a but. I have to go back for that at a later date. For a big one, that's going to take a little longer to deal with.

Unfortunately they stuck a stent in so I can't go back to work until it's out, next Thursday. I'm going mad sitting around the house. I hurt to much to get anything done to big around the house soooo that's driving me nuts!

I'm going to just take my meds, find a semicomfortble position and do a Star Wars marathon and check out SIG Forum....

Sounds like you need Lithotripsy from a Dornier Compact Delta III!

This. Please don't mix them. Your liver will thank you.
Hope you feel better and can poop. I avoided taking my meds as much as I could because I'm a grumpy guy when all bound up.

Last one I had, I went to the store and got a 12 pack.
Sat down at home and drank them back to back until I passed it...
Mrs. Mike thought I was crazy, but the beer makes you go and the ETOH helps with the pain.

My wife had an 8mm stone. Did the litho thing and passed gravel for about a week. She was sore from the procedure but was very happy she passed the stone fragments.

LOL I find that Bell's Two Hearted solves most problems.

Find yourself a decent Dicksmith (Urologist-picture a Dr with a hammer and your junk on an anvil) that has had kidney stones.

When I drink beer, I drink Guinness, so that’s covered.
