Great deal on socks at Belk! NOT!! (Funny)

I cruised Belk's web site a few minutes ago, thinking it was time for some new socks. I'll hit the web, see what's on hand in the local store, and then go fetch. Easy, right? Right.

I found some socks that looked suitable, and figured I'd go take a look. Fifteen bucks for a pack... no worries. Then I took a closer look at the screen. In red letters I saw: "Buy 1, Get 1 for $50"

Say, what??? Yes, I read that right: "Buy 1, Get 1 for $50."

So, being the curious sort I am, I decided I'd add two packs to my cart to see what would happen. Sure enough! Two packs of socks would cost me $65, plus $8.95 in shipping. But I'd save $35!
