A member of the forum who wishes to remain anonymous has made a generous donation on behalf of the Mike Evans Fundraiser.

The owner of this pistol obtained it from another forum member. The owner has not fired it and the original owner thinks he may not have fired it, and if he did, it was less than 100 rounds, which is nothing in a modern pistol. The barrel shows no wear.

The pistol comes with all the factory items: two 15 round magazines, case, loader, cleaning rod and brush, manual, fired case and lock. The pistol has had the original plastic sights replaced with Meprolight Tru-Dot night sights with plenty of life left in them.

The RTF2 version of the G19 was made for a short time and differs from the standard G19 by the sharp grip texturing. Some people don't care for this texturing but this is by far my favorite Glock factory grip treatment. I carry a G19 RTF2 daily. There is another version of the RTF2 which has modified serrations on the slide, sort of a fish gill appearance, but I think the standard serrations not only look better, but are also functionally better, as the fish gill serrations do not run all the way to the top and bottom of the slide, and the result is the slide is slightly harder to grasp.

So, we've got a nice package here, ready to be holstered and carried.

Let's start the bidding at 550.00 with bids in 25.00 increments. **The cost of shipping to the auction winner will be covered by the donator of the pistol.**

We'll keep the auction open-ended and close it down when it's apparent no more bids are forthcoming.

This is for a good cause, guys, and you'll end up with a scarce variation of one of the best defensive handguns ever made.

Bidding is now open. Thanks to all who participate and thanks to our generous member who donated the pistol.

Outstanding, guys. Beautiful, really.

I wonder if all of you who have contributed to the fundraiser and in this auction realize the difference you've made for this family. I am privy to things which it is not my place to reveal publicly, and in the grand scheme of things, seventeen-some-odd thousand dollars may not seem like much, but the generosity of the members of this forum has made a tangible difference to the Evans family, in the form of this money's ability to allow Mike and his wife to spend more time together. I'm not referring to Mike's being able to stay out of a third-world prison. You, the members of this forum, have made an actual difference.

But all of that does not stop me from pushing one last time, for just a bit more. The auction is already a success, but come on, SIGforum, come on, one more time. One more time, let's push it up.

And if not, if we have exhausted our resources, I still thank you from the bottom of my heart. We have asked a lot, and you have responded. Smile

I’m in for $825 for a good cause. And because I still have yet to buy a Glock.

Sounds like a plan , Para. I’ll sent you an email with my info tomorrow. Thanks to the donor, and I hope that Mike’s troubles get sorted out sooner than later.
